We have decided to stay in St. Thomas one more night, the weather isn't looking too great towards Turks and Caicos and to Florida. We hope to take off tomorrow, and if the weather still isn't great in Turks and beyond we will fly as far as we can. At the moment we are thinking of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Pray that we make the right decisions.
So no flying for us today.
We'll get back to you tomorrow....in the meantime, enjoy some pics from when we were in Grenada...

our lovely hosts in grenada, zach and jen klaassen...thanks guys!

So you are grounded for a bit, it doesn't matter, the maine thing is to play it safe, or fly when you have good weather. I wonder about all the fires burning in Florida , Ontario and Thunder Bay, it could be very smoky. In the mean time enjoy your stay in St.Thomas. Every body is praying for the 3 of you.God bless you.Erich geht das Fliegen noch so gut, wird es immer leichter? In Liebe von Hildegard.
Hallo, Erich, Doris and Lori!
I thought I let you know that Jakob Janzen, Else's father, passed away this morning. He was in the hospital for a while. Now he is rejoicing in heaven. He was 96 years old. - All the best to you. God bless you and protect you, we pray. - A wonderful sunny day we are having here. Gruesse,
Elfriede
Dear Friends
I have been following your flights on your blogspot, Lori and must say you guys are just absolutely nuts in what you are doing. But you are having fun doing it, so it seems and that is the main thing. With God's protective care what more can you ask for? You are probably wondering who this nut is that's writing this comment....well, we are Helmuth (Hank) and Ruth Goertz and we live in St.Catharines,ON - about 5 miles from the airport you would be landing at if yu are stopping in St.Catharines. I was born and raised in Curitiba. Lived there 22 years and thenin 1958 we moved to Kitchener. In 1984, we moved to St.Catharines with our 4 children. As time went by the children all married and we now have 10 grandchildren. I identify with you guys a little bit, since I am an airplane buff. I'm green with envy that you,Erich, Doris and Lori, have the opportunity to go on a once-in-a-lifetime trip like this. It's a shame that the one seat stays empty the whole trip. We are thankful to the Lord that He has protected all of you thus far and He will continue to do so to the end of the trip, we pray. If we can be of any help please call us at 905-937-5147 or e-mail us at hgoertz@computan.on.ca. We realize that you are on short time and schedule, but we sure would love to meet you at the airport and at least say "HI". We wish you God's speed for the rest of the journey.
10 - 4 over and out.
Hank and Ruth
