almost arrested in west palm beach

But we didn't! We were a little confused when we arrived at West Palm Beach Int. We went through customs all nice and fast and no rubber gloves, but then we made a mistake of not getting back in to our plane right away. That's when we got a bit in trouble, just a stern warning that's all. How were we supposed to know!! Anyway, we had a very nice flight from Provo to West Palm Beach, the clouds were very dark in Provo but we decided to go anyway, and within an hour of taking off, we had clearer skies.

We're in the United States!!!! We can't believe we've already come this far!!! Tomorrow if all goes to plan, we hope to arrive in St. Catharine's Ontario, one more customs, hopefully we will do it right. Every customs is so different from the other, we've never had everything right yet...thank goodness there's only one left. From Ontario, we will fly to Thunder Bay, and then on to Winnipeg. From Winnipeg we will fly to Medicine Hat Alberta and then home to Abbotsford, B.C.

We're not home yet...but it sure does feel good to be on more familiar territory....and with no more ocean to fly over.

Back in the USA!! Welcome, isn't it laughable you should have some trouble with customs on landing in more familiar surroundings!

I have loved following your travels and seeing pictures of those wonderful places and welcoming family and friends, you have certainly had an adventure of a lifetime.

Wishing you clear skies as you head to Ontario and then points west to "home"....make every moment count...

Almost home again? I'm sure you enjoyed every minute... Even when the Oil was not to be found and the wheater did not cooperate.
I'm glad you made it to USA... there things will go better (hope so!).
So, have nice flights! U are always welcome here in Blumenau.

Welcome to the 'good ol USofA' my home, sweet home. Been following your 'odyssey' with great interest and praying for your safety. I don't know the number of 'mennos' who migrated north (mostly Canada --- some to the US) but it took a tough gaucho from Colonia Nova shaped by the minuano and other very unforgiving elements to try this adventure. Great job! Great pics too! (I was just hoping to see one where Erich milks a cow. Wouldn't that be 'utterly' amusing and entertaining? Wasn't some 'Betsy' available for a 'photo-op'? Great to see familiar faces! Anyway, glad to see you on north american soil (air) and enjoy the rest of the trip. I'll continue to pray for you. Again, GREAT JOB!
