We are just trying our new toy! We bought a MacBook laptop, it's super cool...we are now officially Mac users...thanks to the intelligent advice from our good friend Marky Mark...

We are packing all our stuff so we are ready to go at a moment's notice, but will most likely take off in about 2 weeks!

overwhelmed

our final destination, Bage Brazil, this picture was taken on our Dad's last trip a few years ago....

The plane is now back in Abbotsford after being in the shop for two days getting some repairs. Thankfully we didn't need an entire auto pilot installed, rather only a few adjustments...I will not attempt to know what I'm talking about when it comes to mechanics. They also made a connection for the person sitting in the back seat to wear a head set (before only the pilot and co-pilot wore head sets), so now we can all 3 hear and talk to each other. This makes it a lot easier for the back seater to actually communicate, as opposed to yelling to the pilot asking, "are we there yet??" The plane can get a little loud...

We want to have everything together by the end of next week, so we can leave on a moment's notice. The weather has been phenomenal lately, which is a miracle in itself, so hopefully it stays like this. You will be hearing a lot about the weather on this trip, so get used to it.

There have been some overwhelming feelings lately...keep thinking of us when you can....

We are in the final stages of planning our trip. We hope to leave as soon as we can in February as we wait for a good clear day, but it could take up to the middle of the month until we take off.

Please come back every once in awhile as we are going to try to blog during our trip, as there are many people who are interested in our progress.
